The smaller lounge can also be used for celebrating private and family occasions, and another room is also available. The hotel offers traditional Thuringian cuisine and seasonal dishes such as local game and fish specialities.

Breathe in some healthy, salty air in the spa town of Bad Salzungen. Learn more about the history of salt-mining in the 800-metre deep Merkers salt-mine. Art lovers and culture vultures will appreciate visiting the towns of Schmalkalden, Meiningen and Eisenach. Weimar, Gotha and Erfurt are also only a little further afield.

This family-run hotel is located near the centre of Bad Liebenstein, the oldest spa town in the Thuringian Forest. Come and stay here in the plush and comfortable rooms. The hotel is ideal for those on a spa break, as well as for general holidaymakers. Go on pleasant day-trips from here to Altenstein Castle or the Wartburg mountain near Eisenach, or the towns of Meiningen and Weimar. The renowned Rennsteig hiking trail is also nearby.
