The hotel is situated in Mezőkövesd, which features the most prominent Matyó population in Hungary. The Matyó consider themselves separate ethnic group, since they came into the region after the Turkish invasion drove them from other parts of Hungary and Slovakia. Their famed art and culture is now a core addition to Hungarian identity. The first 30 minutes use of the sauna, jacuzzi, gym and salt cave is free of charge each day.
