If you are travelling by car, exit the A29 motorway (Oldenburg-Wilhelmshaven) at exit 24 and continue on route B210 for Whv-Süd/Roffhausen. After about 7 km, turn right onto the Werftstraße, then turn left after about 1 km onto the Weserstraße. After about 1 km, turn right onto the Jadeallee (formerly the Jadestraße). Cross the Deichbrücke bridge. After about 300 metres, you will see the hotel on the left-hand side. Parking spaces are available directly at the hotel. If you are travelling by train, descend at the Wilhelmshaven railway station. Enter the Nordwestpassage shopping centre and leave the complex via the exit on the right-hand side. The hotel is a 5-minute walk away from here. Cross the Valoisplatz square, then cross the Weserstraße street and continue towards the Deichbrücke bridge. Seit 1934 ist das Friesen-Hotel im Besitz der Familie. 1959 wurde das Haus vergrößert und als Tanzlokal eröffnet. Der Wandel der Zeit drückte sich in einer Discothek aus, die von 1963 bis 1973 bestand. Eine ruhige Kugel konnte man ab 1971 schieben, als ein Anbau mit vier Kegelbahnen verwirklicht wurde. 1973 war es dann soweit, daß mit dem Umbau zum Hotel begonnen wurde.
